New Riff Kentucky Wild Gin. 94 proof

New Riff Distilling’s Kentucky Wild Gin is thoughtfully crafted with local wild foraged Kentucky botanicals, capturing the native flavors of the Ohio Valley and reflecting historical Kentucky gin ingredients. Eleven botanicals are distilled right in the pot, including a range of typical European gin ingredients (such as angelica, orris and licorice root, and three kinds of citrus). To these we add two local, farmer-foraged wild seasonings, including a wild juniper berry and the amazing American Allspice (Spicebush)— both of which are on the Slow Food Ark of Taste. The base spirit includes a dash of our new make rye whiskey spirit, enriching the texture and lengthening the flavor.

Martinez

  • 1 1/2 ounces New Riff gin

  • 1 1/2 ounces sweet vermouth

  • 1/4 ounce Luxardo maraschino liqueur

  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters

  • Garnish: orange twist

Combine ingredients with ice, stir well, stain and serve in an up glass

Alma del Jaquar Reposado Tequila, 80 proof

What truly makes Alma del Jaguar special is that it is a blend of two unique tequilas, both produced entirely at NOM 1414. Eighty percent (80%) of the blend is tequila fermented from natural wild yeast, and the remaining 20 percent (20%) is tequila fermented from champagne yeast imported from France. This blend allows Alma del Jaguar to pair bolder flavors and complexity from the wild yeast with the sweetness and subtlety from the champagne yeast.

Long, dry finish with notes of vanilla, oak, caramel, and cooked agave

Maple Barrel Old fashioned

  • 1 1/2 ounces Alma del Jaguar Reposado tequila

  • 3/4 WhistlePig barrel aged maple syrup

  • 1/2 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed

  • 1 dash Angostura bitters

Combine ingredients with ice, shake well, stain and serve in an up glass

Ammunition Rye, 90 proof

This is a blend of 2, 3, and 4-year-old Rye Whiskey finished no less than 3 months in wine barrels that previously held several vintages of Ammunition Sonoma Pinot Noir. This unique process imparts sweetness and tannin unlike that of any other rye. You can smell it on the nose and see it with your eyes.

This whiskey is special. Dark amber in color, you can expect flavors of rich butterscotch and a hint of citrus. The finish is highlighted by subtle notes of baking spice and red berries courtesy of the Pinot Noir French Oak casks.

Perfect Manhattan

  • 2 oz Ammunition rye whiskey

  • ½ oz Dry vermouth

  • ½ oz Sweet vermouth

  • 2 dashes aromatic bitters

  • Garnish: Maraschino cherry or orange zest

Combine ingredients with ice, stir well, stain and serve in an up glass
