Far North Single Varietal ‘Hazlet’ Rye Whiskey, Minnesota

100 proof, Bottled in Bond

Regular price $69 per bottle

On sale for $59 per bottle

Hazlet is Far North’s flagship varietal; they originally seeded AC Hazlet for its ability to overwinter in the harsh Northern Minnesota winter. It wasn’t until the whiskeys came of age a few years later that its true character was revealed: Hazlet has a rich vanilla note, with less of the pepper and spice notes commonly found in rye whiskey. That characteristic vanilla is backed up by almond-like nuttiness and dried fruit notes

Dad's Hat Pennsylvania Straight Rye Whiskey (Pre-Prohibition Style) is lush and complex rye in the classic, spicy Pennsylvania style. The nose reveals ryegrass and burnt sugar with hints of vanilla. The flavor coats the tongue in layers of pepper and cinnamon spice, green apple, fig and cocoa powder with a long smooth and lingering finish. This rye really delivers.
