This is a  whiskey that conforms to the American requirements for bourbon but is made with malted barley that has been exposed to peat smoke, a practice common in scotch whiskies — So it’s a hybrid whiskey of the two traditions: the high-corn mashbill and new-barrel aging produce a spirit that is unmistakably bourbon, while complementary notes of barbecue and campfire smoke linger long after the sip. If scotch and bourbon had a baby, this double gold medal winner is what it would taste like.

Lothaire II was King of Franks. He gave his name to Lotharingie, the current Lorraine region in France. This particular area is famous for crafted French spirits, where Lothaire Whisky is produced. This golden, amber Single Malt shows notes of white fruits, toasted hazelnuts and warm cereal. It is rich and round, with suppleness and great length on the finish. Aged in ex-Bourbon and ex-French spirit (Cognac, Armagnac) barrels and new Lorraine oak barrels.

Inspired by the historic Blackpitts area in the Liberties, Dublin, this Peated Single Malt uses smoke from peat to dry the barley during the malting process, resulting in a distinctive smokey taste profile. However, what makes Teeling Blackpitts so unique is the triple distillation process, which reduces some of the medicinal character you would get from a traditional Scottish Peated Single Malt and allows the more barbeque smoke characteristic to shine. This is then combined with signature Teeling innovative cask maturation using both ex-bourbon and ex-Sauternes white wine casks, which is bottled at 46% with no chill filtration to produce a truly different and unique expression of Teeling and Irish Whiskey

This one is special. We had an opportunity to select a special barrel from the folks at Hill Rock to bring you, our community, something truly unique. This American single malt is a beautiful showcase of the artistry of whiskey-making. Complex & interesting, aged first in new charred American oak, then transferred into ex-Hillrock bourbon barrels, & finally finished in ex-Olorosso and Pedro Ximenez barrels, this special release is as intriguing as it is approachable, kind of like us.

Penicillin Cocktail

• 2 ounces blended scotch

• 3/4 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed

• 3/4 ounce honey-ginger syrup

• 1/4 ounce Islay single malt scotch

• 
  

• Add the blended scotch, lemon juice and syrup into a shaker with ice, and shake until well-chilled. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.Top with the Islay single malt scotch.

Drunken Uncle

• 3/4 ounce Dry Vermouth

• 3/4 ounce Cynar

• 1 1/2 ounces peated whisky

• 
  

• Add all ingredients to a mixing glass and fill with ice. Stir until well chilled, then strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
