Tres vieux, indeed! Made with a rare blend of vintage rums reaching as far back as 1952, this amber XO boasts sweet, heady honeysuckle, candied orange peel and luscious vanilla, accented with clove, black tea, walnut and bitter chocolate notes. Add a little water to tame the puckery tannins.

The Classic Daiquiri

• 1 1/2 ounces rum

• 3/4 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice

• 1/2 ounce simple syrup

Combine all ingredients and shake well. Serve in ‘up’ glass
