Gin Cocktails for Autumn

As the temperature drops and the daylight packs its bags, gin steps forward like, “Don’t worry, I’ve got the citrus, the botanicals, and just enough bite to keep you warm without becoming a fireplace.” These cocktails are basically autumn’s version of good lighting.

Passing Shot

2 oz Gin de Mahon

1 oz Green Chartreuse

½ oz Fino Sherry

½ oz lemon juice

Garnish with lemon peel 

Combine all ingredients with ice, stir well, and strain into an ‘up’ glass



Queen Elizabeth’s Ghost

1½ oz Botanist Cask Aged Gin

1 oz Pimm’s No. 1 Cup

½ oz Ginger liqueur 

2 dashes toasted almond bitters

Combine all ingredients with ice, stir well, and strain into an ‘up’ glass
