Boxed in, Boxed out, part 3
Gratsi Red
Fresh and full with drying tannins, this field blend is friendly and easy to like, exhibiting dark berry flavors touched by dark chocolate.
Gratsi Rosé
Round and easy, this rosé blend is pale pink and understated, yet somehow satisfying. It's simply a good wine without the fuss and pretense of other rosé.
Gratsi White
Driven by Sauvignon Blanc, this wine is bright and citrus-y, unadorned by oak aging and wonderfully refreshing. A perfect summer aperitif or poolside quaffer.
The good news is that these wines from Washington State’s Columbia and Yakima Valleys over deliver in terms of price and quality. The bad news? Well, if you like big, forward, unctuous wines, then these wines are not really made for you. They are, by design, slight and understated, made to be backdrops, not centerpieces. Having said that however, if what you want is minimal packaging waste, responsible winemaking and extended freshness, then this is an eco-friendly choice that keeps both the planet and your palate happy.
