This wine, from sunny Paso Robles, hits all the right marks with the diverse crowd at your table this year. First of all, it's a crowd pleaser; a bold and juicy red blend made from eight different grapes (32% Zinfandel, 22% Cabernet Franc, 15% Alicante Bouschet, 10% Charbono, 7% Syrah, 6% Lagrein, 4%  Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Grenache), from six different sites. Everything comes together seamlessly, with blueberry pie and chocolate-covered cherry aromas floating out of the glass. The palate brings more of that concentrated fruit, along with a firm tannic structure. Then, it's all of those things that the young people demand: Sustainable, low intervention, no additives, native yeast, vegan, gluten free, minimal sulfites.
